Love the pink poppies that have come up among the pink and purple wildflowers. Kinda makes up for the absurd heat.

Oh, those are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI've had a really bad sinus infection for the last twelve days - and counting - and so spent part of the heat with a fever, which made it even more magical! But, our roses just took off for some reason - beautifully deep red and apparently fragrant (not that I can smell).
Compensations for the heat.
So sorry you have been suffering with the sinus infection...those are horrible and heat makes it worse. Hope you feel better soon. I just hunker down in the heat and read...otherwise I'm a cranky mess.
